"Wow" The word that would best describe the 4-hour long play of the Dulaang UP Baguio. The 2001 Palanca Award winning play was made by ____ Martinez.

Penguin, as it is fondly called, is situated during the time when Erap was in the brink of being ousted by the same people who voted him. It is a political satire that exudes tons of humor but with a deeper meaning.

The play revolves around five main characters having fun at the infamous Malate.
From the gay guy to the overtly outright lesbian, from the "jologs" lover to the drug pusher, from the liberated to the conservative, and from humor to politics.

Hehe, I just read this question in a Peyups forum and it struck me.

Yep, it took me time just to answer it but it is definitely interesting I should say.

If I were oble, I would be thinking on the day when UP admin would have mercy on students' plight for true academic and campus freedom. And of course the day when I would get down that darn pedestal where I stand now.
